as we have explained before, this is one bit of Brexit which is definite. However Foratom, the EU's nuclear industry club are asking for a USA/Japan style cooperation agreement after exit (Telegraph 12.10.17). We think that won't allow free UK electricity exports to Europe, so China, for example, will not get EU market entry either, although technical cooperation might continue. It has occurred to SAGE that the picture of the UK being decisive abut Euratom exit may not be accurate. Maybe the EU wanted the UK out and it's been smoke and mirrors.
